1 Syawal, it's Hari Raya. Time to visit our muslim friends to foster harmony among friends and family members who celebrate Hari Raya. We were invited to YB Haji Ahmad Lai's open house at Kpg. Luak. I went with Pandang & Mrs and few other friends (PRS). Theme baju YB Haji Ahmad Lai sekeluarga taun tu sedondon color brown... selain ari kami, maioh guests datai bangsa cina, iban, india..siko ari orang ke dikelala aku Mr Karambir S (President kaum Singh, Miri) bisi meh datai.
From Luak, we drove to Lutong Baru to visit Emiss (YB Senator DB's sister) who also celebrates Hari Raya. Maioh mcm kek lapis di gaga Emiss empu, rajin amai..she has the patience ngukus all the kek lapis. Color theme Emiss and family is apple green.
The last house, to Halifah M house (ex-colleague). Tho' we do not work at the same department, we still get in touch with each other, before Raya break, we met at Bazaar Ramadhan and she invited me to come to her house on 1st Day Raya. Nasip Pandang & wife nemu rumah iya, aku ingat ke rumah tapi enda ingat ke exact junction of her house laban lama dah enda ke rumah iya; Halifah's family color theme is shade of purple, datai ba rumah Halifah, nadai selera makai, berandau aja kami duai panjong lama enda betemu enggau pangan diri; enda berasai udah bisi "uchu laki" tudah Halifah (how time flies). Ti ngabang raya usually at the 1st house udah kenyang laban lauk sida belemak bekerim. This time, I chose to eat satay, lemang & rendang and 1, 2 pieces of kek lapis. (takut ka makai maioh enggai ke trigger my cough).
Thanked Pandang & wife for inviting me to join them for Raya Visit, eventho the weather was not favourable for visiting as it was raining quite bad. Anyway, I just want to wish all muslim friends & relatives (M'sian & Brunei) "Selamat Hari Raya and Safe Hari Raya break to all".
