Whenever, suluati is around, we must have “exotic food” as our main meal of the day; be it our lunch or dinner; we just love eating and taste all kinds of dish especially “exotic” dishes, slurrrps slurrpps ti ingat ke “bull frog” pama ko kitai iban. 2 iko bull frog costs RM58! Though the meat doesn’t seem much, its filing; cook with Chinese red-wine and black mushroom soup!! Another dish, claypot “lelabi” with ginger! Seafood is a must, never missed esp. ou favs tiger-prawn either cooked in claypot or simply grilled… “sigh”.. nelan liur; steam fish teochew style will blend nicely to our day’s menu. Suluati’s another fav. is the steam pounded pork mix with salted fish... nyum! Nyum! Simply delicious, dishes are prepared by Apollo Restaurant. No wonder, the place is always packed with diners!!
“Janek tunu” is a must for suluati, dua bulan enda makai janek tunu ko iyO, ti pulai ke Miri mesti nyO and 2 or 3 tin of Carlsberg or Tiger beer to go with it; aku selalu makai janek tunu aja, ngirup beer nadai kala abis se-tin, ngayah aja ko iyO! hehehehe
Always looking forward for his return from offshore, so that we can dine all our fav. dishes, the next time round will be going for “ripong” or “biawak” !! (I know most people doesn’t eat these so-called reptiles, but we love it and craving for it!!) ngiahahahaha

When eating out with children, my elder son and daughter loves fast food (Pizza Hut, McD, KFC, Pete’s Deli, Dave Deli, Marry Brown, Secret Recipe, Sushi King) my younger son loves too but he prefers to have proper meal like rice, he told me, Mummy it’s more filing and worth the price rather than going to fast food, pay so much but feel full for awhile then later feeling hungry and wanting to have another meal”, my younger son doesn’t like to eat so much unlike his siblings.
I love these shot, how they are so engrossed with their food, which seem irresistible to them!! Sida 3 tu benong breakfast ba MiriCity before sending both of them to PPKS on Monday morning.
My personal beliefs, always have your meal when you’re feeling happy and loved, then the food will taste simply delicious even if it’s only a bowl of “kolok mee” or a bowl of soft-boiled eggs for breakfast... ndO piO ko kita?
