Wedding Reception of Larry and Munah - 29.05.2010

Few days before celebrating Gawai Dayak, I was invited to attend a longtime friend cum colleague to attend her wedding reception at Mega Hotel. Married to my ex-colleague in Samling Mr Adrian Lawai Agan's eldest son Mr Larry. Understood that Larry is 10 years younger than Munah, nya meh ti udah cinta, cinta tidak mengenal usia, tidak mengenal darjat, pangkat, keterunan, bangsa & ugama; "Jodoh udah datai ba adan" ko kitai! Munah is one lucky lady who meets a young and single man who truly loves her; Americans call it "Cougar", when a lady marries a younger man, welcome to Demi Moore, Sheila Majid and many others club! Yang penting happy together, age is just a number. Photos captured.

Wedding Cake Cutting & Toast for long and true happiness marriage for Munah & Larry moment.




After the cake cutting and toast, giving away gifts from both families welcoming their daughter and son in law to their family "adat resam of org ulu", the groom and bride came down from the stage to meet with all the invited guests and took photos.

Wedding time is also a chance for old friends to meet with one another especially those who have not been around for few years and living outside Miri... as Gawai season is around the corner, we took the opportunity to wish one another gawai wishes too. Perfect timing to wed.. but few tables are not fully-occupied by guests, bet they must be away for gawai break to rumah panjai to usher the gawai dayak celebration.

Kena kami ngapus ke malam, maioh macam meh cerita enggau pangan diri panjong lama enda betemu baka kaban lama kami wai Lily ke datai jauh ari KL.. sambil nya bekelala meh bala kaban ke bedau ngelala pangan diri. Bisi siko bujang (Rumulus) ke duduk semija enggau kami, enda mukaix2 madah kediri ka ngiga "bini", apa lagi kami duai Rose alo introduce indu dara (Nora) baka ke di rancang "si bujang betemu enggau si dara", ti pengerindu seduai mujur kami duai Rose udah volunteer ka nyadi "wedding planner" seduai.. (arapx2 nyadi kenyataan meh, sama bajik, sama sigat di peda mata... sayau enda serambau, 1 minit too late munyi ko Rose) hahahahaha
By 11 p.m. the Wedding Reception ends... everyone have a great time! One family photo for the bride with her parents and the groom with his dad and his late mum's sister.
