Informative Article on Health By Johns Hopkins 23.08.2010

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINSIS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY ... Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.
2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.
3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc., and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.
9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
WHAT CANCER CELLS FEED ON:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells are being starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water--best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.
13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.
16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.
I believe some of you might have known about these, I just want to share and remind ourselves, let us change our lifestyles.. be more healthier so that we can have better immune system in our body to fight all the bad cells in our body; and also be "Stress free". God bless us all.

Till Death Do us Part....20.8.2010

"On the way to Miri GH, aku nadai pikir agik semina nanya dlm ati... can my hubby make it or not??? Teka teki campur sedih....meda laki iya nadai bermaya .. deep in her heart (HE) knew her hubby would not make it, but she just do not want to accept the fact... is it my dream??" Each time aku pray, a small voice keep on telling me that my hubby will go before me... but she don't know when and don't understand why that small voice keep on appearing to her when she pray... ko randau HE enggau aku. .. aku pun enda nemu bakani ka nyaut, I don't know whether it's a bad or good angel?? I believe if it is a "good angel" would he take away our happiness?? Why would God want to give us pain, if he knew he could not give us His grace?? ko dlm ati ku din, but I just listen, I do not want to confuse her or add more pain to her; looking at her situation that very moment, I felt for her but I can tell she is devasted with the loss of her beloved hubby, as she referred him as her "bread of life", knowing how close they were for the last one month.
According to her close friend (D), who always go lunch together with her; or sometimes fetch her to work and send her home. D told us it was not like HE.. from last month till 19.8.2010, her pattern of life changed, she declines to go out for lunch because her hubby (W) cooks for her and send over the lunch pack to her and; she wants her hubby to send and fetch her to/fro work eventho she came to office not as early when she is with D, HE is the type who wants to be in the office early but somehow D found her behaviour unusual, they suddenly becomes so attached to one another ko randau D ngagai bala kami ke datai.. maybe because HE knew about the "small voice" ko aku meh! engka D enda nemu pasal nya.

Her last hour with her beloved late hubby (W), was last nite (19.8.2010), he came back around 10 p.m. after he had a drink with his friends, reached home, he took a bath then she told HE that he would cook for her, HE was quite upset because he came late, merajuk lah, then he told her.. you look so pretty when you are upset with him, so they had supper @ 12 midnite. After they had supper, he told HE, he's so tired and he wanted to sleep straight after supper, HE told him "don't sleep immediately" after you had eaten, but he just ignored her and doze off. Early this morning, HE woke him but he did not response, then shelook closer to him and found that his face and body was blue-black, mulut iya nyau bepupo, ngelie iya terkanchin; his shirt was wet and he urinated, the bedsheet was all wet... he must have been struggling for breath, so HE quickly called her mum to see, then her mum try to massage and pull his hands, he breath his last breath (mutus ke seput) ko mak iya, tang mak iya enggai madah ke HE.. while HE was panicking looking for someone to help her to send him to MGH. So he was driven by HE's brother-in-law... when he reached MGH he was pronuouced death, died of Hearth Attack but the doctor suspect the cause of heart attack is due to "stress"!!

Daughter Kim is the closest to her daddy.. she really cried upon the arrival of the body to the house around 5:30 p.m... then later, she asked me and wai NR... what happen to my daddy, why is he sleeping?? I told her that Jesus loves her daddy and took him to Heaven, can he come back home? ko tanya Kim; I told her No.. He must stay in heaven with Jesus.. then she looks puzzled?? bedau nemu reti pemati meh tudah ko randau kami duai wai NR.. sedih amai...so, I told her from now onwards you have to be your mummy's bestfren, be a good daughter, study hard and help mummy to take care of your little brothers.. she just nodded and smile. She's so sweet, she's a daddy's girl.

It was a very sad sad moment especially when you look at their children, they are so young & innocent who still need a "daddy's" love; their eldest and only daughter age 9 years old, 2nd child 7 yrs old, 3rd child 4 yrs old and the youngest is 3 yrs old. HE and her late hubby both 35 yrs old... the late hubby would turn 35 yrs old next mth. HE colleagues from Curtin Uni (Student Affairs Dept.) came including their head of dept.. Dr Adeline.; she even went to see HE at MGH, very concern boss and caring colleagues.. there were all tears as they comfort HE upon her arrival with her husband casket... a saddest moment of a wife's life, no woman could hold the tears at that very moment, I cried too, no words could express when we loss our dear ones!!

The late William, to me was a very nice, quiet man.. always put a smile on his face. Very loving hubby and dad to his children. "good people always goes early".. they don't have to stay on earth too long..ko kami bekenang meda tudah agik biak, died so soon! Munyi ko HE madah enggau sebak di dada..."she loves Jesus so much that she is willing to let him go,it's not easy to carry the cross of suffering ko serbana tudah.. and life must goes on". Tu meh ngitih ke sempekat seduai ngagai Tuhan, till death do us part..
What death means in 1 Corinth 15:29 "Now if there is no resurrection, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them?"
Dearest Helen, our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolence to you and your children and those who mourn his loss, May his soul rest in peace. Our prayers are with you and your children.. May the Good Lord Jesus gives you comfort n strength to help you to go thru' these moment of pain & mourning the loss of your beloved hubby/daddy; put your trust in Jesus. Amen... from iEg & Layang.

Late 20’s vs Early 40’s… hmmmm.

Last Sunday (15.8.2010), attended DAM Solidarity Dinner at Eastwood Valley Country & Golf Club. I went with my sister and sister-in law. Weather was not favorable, drizzling. Guest of Honor was Tan Sri Dtk Patinggi Jabu, he was accompanied by his wife Datuk Empaing Jabu. Program of the nite were the introduction of the former and present DAM’s President, the location of Rumah Dayak back in the 1980’s.. now DAM is situated on 3rd Floor above Mahdli Satay infront of Imperial Mall. The event would have been interesting and perfect as there were lucky draws, best dress for ladies & men of the nite, “Ngajat Mas” from TSDP Jabu.. if only TSDP Jabu's speech were 'short & precise'; understood the event ends at 1:00 a.m.; knowing the next day is a working day, those who attended the dinner were teachers and most of all pity those students who received the Incentive Award for UPSR, PMR and SPM 2009 with straight A’s results had to stay till wee hours. hmmmmmm...

In the midst of TSDP Jabu speech, I and “queen” went to the “ladies” where we met with our ladies friends.. (Mang SaA, AiE and Lene). Keluar from "Ladies", apa lagi start beposing with my hp camera.. (nadai mai Sony cybershot camera this time) .. As usual the next day I posted our pictures at FB.. wah! Maioh orang comment madah “gamal aku agik biak” sampai org bisi personally send message meri comment ngagai aku, kumbai org bula, nundie sida iya maia aku madah ke diri umur udah ngalih ke lemai…!! “Enda patut” ko sida jako tundie nn aja ko… *geram amai aku ninga org enda caya ke umur aku udah tuai.. haiiisssssssssss*.. bisi org ke personally ngelala aku baru caya umur aku udah ngalih ke lemai, nyo sida muji kati aku ulih maintain cantik stidi at my age sedangkan anak udah bujang dara semak jako ngantik ke bulih “uchu” da ko kitai (mintax2 anang diatu, enggai aku nyadi “inik yak”) hehehehe

Bisi ke nanya ke rahsia aku bakani aku maintain “awet muda”… aaaaa nadai rahsia, mesti rajin nuci mua 2 kali sehari, facial wash, toner and moisturizer (what/which skincare? it all depends on individual preference) it don’t have to be expensive, most important it suits your skin types.. No matter how busy or tired I am, I must make sure I wash, toning and moisturize my face twice daily, morning and night. When I have the time, I’ll do “egg white mask” at home, prefers to go for natural and cheap. Once a month I’ll go for my facial treatment, and besides that I take supplement for inner beauty and cleansing. Last and not the least secret is we must be happy, believe in God as He is our creator and SMILE owez!!.
Next month, must register myself for cardio exercise to keep fit! So that I can be 10 years younger hahahaha… OMGosh! next month I’ll be turning the BIG 8..*winks*

Would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who had praise me, I believe everyone can look young and beautiful as long as we have the will to do so.. all things are possible in this new era, there are lots of new technology available. Personally, I believe in "inner beauty" rather than cosmestics beauty.
