Birthday Lunch @Han's Palace : 30.06.2011

Last Thursday, 30.06.2011 iEg was invited by KS to join Birthday Lunch for NA (Nawai A)... her actual birthday falls on 2nd July, since everyone are occupied... so wai KS decided to call few of her close friend to celebrate it earlier. Tumu manah ari belated keno ko (chinese beliefs).... but for us Christian, nadai kitai percaya manah enggau endO, pengelantang meh kitai celebrate... ti birthday aku tak sebulan bulan 9 nyO meh fully-booked dini ngira early or belated... enggau pemanah kaul kitai enggau kaban belayan, maiOh kaban rindu ke kitai maiOh agik ga birthday di beri orang ngagai kitai..endO piO ko kita... endO salah baka Sultan Brunei sebulan-bulan July tu meh rakyat Brunei celebrate birthday iyO....Epi bestday "abg Hass"...15th July.

Amai jampat jam beputar, ari beganti ari...dah datai ba bulan July... so sis NA meh mungkal nyambut birthday...Bah jom medax2 gambarx2 ke bisi di ambik iEg.... layannnssssssss.

Birthday Hi-Tea @ Dynasty Hotel : 26.06.2011

Celebrating friends birthday, this time round it was Betty P (Mamashabella), it was not properly organise, as it was a last minute program because we were busy and most of us could not confirm the attendance, so only few can make it... and this time we chose Hi-Tea knowing one of our friend Cath D would not be able to make it if were to organize dinner gathering, nadai permit "lisin" keluar malam meh nyO. Her birthday was supposed to be celebrated together with Lene last February... since she could not make it, yet we still bought her a bday gift.

Photos taken that evening, the Hi-Tea was from 3:30 p.m. till 5:30 p.m.....

Time for bday gifts presentation to Bday ladies...1st Betty.. born in the month of June then long-over due bday gift to mang Cath D, she didn't know about it, she thought it was for Betty but then look at her expression.... glad both of them are happy with their bday gifts...thousand apologies no bday cake. It's Okay ko Betty, she had hers on her actual bday from her darling hubby and children.

How do I look Mom? First time meh anak aku begarik ngepan... ukai ngepan penuh, laban sida have to serve or on duty malam "Ngiling Bidai" organised by her school... only Pengawas are invited by the school....Anak aku tu ukai aja Pengawas tang Assistant Ketua Pengawas for the school... nyO meh iyO have no choice but have to attend the Ngiling Bidai. Anak dara aku tu kena elected as Asst. Ketua Pengawas by students and teachers of her school early this year.

Gambarx2 iya ngepan, sayau endO full-set, endO be sugu tinggi, nadai beselempai, nadai ngena marik "ujan"...asal bisi melambangkan indu pakaian iban ko cikgu.

Zaman aku suba, ma meda ayas cikgu, udah cecapu lari takut amai ke cikgu, nembiak maia ari tu cikgu baka kawan sida iya.... engkO nyO meh anakx2 kemaia ari tu maiOh pandaix2 laban rapport sida enggau cikgu manah... aku suba nama enda paham topik di ajar dalam kelas, gegetal pala patung ka nanya cikgu haiii langaiiii....

How do mommy's princess look in "ngepan"? Mommy would say simply beautiful and sweet... as parents we must encourage our children to wear the traditional costumes, knowledge of our culture, beliefs and cook kampung food, etc.. so that we will not loose our identity as an iban.
