Hari Raya Visit 10.09.2010

1 Syawal, it's Hari Raya. Time to visit our muslim friends to foster harmony among friends and family members who celebrate Hari Raya. We were invited to YB Haji Ahmad Lai's open house at Kpg. Luak. I went with Pandang & Mrs and few other friends (PRS). Theme baju YB Haji Ahmad Lai sekeluarga taun tu sedondon color brown... selain ari kami, maioh guests datai bangsa cina, iban, india..siko ari orang ke dikelala aku Mr Karambir S (President kaum Singh, Miri) bisi meh datai.

From Luak, we drove to Lutong Baru to visit Emiss (YB Senator DB's sister) who also celebrates Hari Raya. Maioh mcm kek lapis di gaga Emiss empu, rajin amai..she has the patience ngukus all the kek lapis. Color theme Emiss and family is apple green.

The last house, to Halifah M house (ex-colleague). Tho' we do not work at the same department, we still get in touch with each other, before Raya break, we met at Bazaar Ramadhan and she invited me to come to her house on 1st Day Raya. Nasip Pandang & wife nemu rumah iya, aku ingat ke rumah tapi enda ingat ke exact junction of her house laban lama dah enda ke rumah iya; Halifah's family color theme is shade of purple, datai ba rumah Halifah, nadai selera makai, berandau aja kami duai panjong lama enda betemu enggau pangan diri; enda berasai udah bisi "uchu laki" tudah Halifah (how time flies). Ti ngabang raya usually at the 1st house udah kenyang laban lauk sida belemak bekerim. This time, I chose to eat satay, lemang & rendang and 1, 2 pieces of kek lapis. (takut ka makai maioh enggai ke trigger my cough).

Thanked Pandang & wife for inviting me to join them for Raya Visit, eventho the weather was not favourable for visiting as it was raining quite bad. Anyway, I just want to wish all muslim friends & relatives (M'sian & Brunei) "Selamat Hari Raya and Safe Hari Raya break to all".

Hairdo @ Paul & Jennifer Saloon 09.09.2010

So glad that my cough is over me! At last I have my life back to normal. I hate it when I'm down with "cough & flu"!!.. had to postpone my monthly beauty regime (hair and facial treatment).

Today our office is close in lieu of Hari Raya break, I told myself I must get my hairdo!! After I've done my laundry this morning, my sister-in law fetch me and my daughter, and off we went for a hairdo at P & J Saloon. I've made an appointment with P & J Saloon, since end of July to get my hair "body perm" to give my hair more volume as it's thinning, which scare me...(can't imagine me getting bald..eeerrrr).. Paul trimmed my hair to get rid of the dried ends; then followed by hair-treatment (steam) to soften my hair texture. End of this month God's willing I'll get my hair dyed (chosen my desired color with Paul to cover-up the "silver lining", which is getting visible each day errkkssss!!).
My hairdo costs me RM400++..., how does my hair look-like after the permed?? Can't wait for it to settle at least a week from today, now it's so stiffed & curly, it should be natural curl; where I can blow-dry it to natural wavy style (big curl)!! I hope I look nice with this new hairdo...*winks*

Bestfriend (SR) visit.. 06.09.2010

My cousin, my bestfriend since childhood.. we've known each other since day one of our life as she's a year older than me, we were neighbour then at Seria, Brunei. Both our dad worked with BSP since 1960's and retired mid 1980's. We grew up together, until we both got married and from that day onwards we go separate ways... She's staying in Bintulu with her family. She have three children a son and two lovely daughters. All these years, we met occasionally; but have not taken photo together like we used to do during our younger years... we just love to take photo, never forget to bring along a camera with us, udah nya bebagi ke kodak kami duai (enda tau lebih ari siko kodak, ti bisi extra mesti bgambar begulai) hahahahaha

Tu gambar kami duai lunch tadi ba Sushi King, which I've promised to treat her. (kira ka early bday gift aku agai iya meh tu) *dun forget mine, it's just around the corner, winks*

Sementara, ngantik food di order kami duai ngambik peluang beposing, sambil berandau ingat ke kisah lama, cerita sensasi semasa, berandau pasal anakx2 bujang kami duai ke udah bisi girlfriend, geli ati kami duai ngenang, kelia takut amai kami duai "bercintan" enggai ke temu apai indai, ti apai indai nemu gerenti kena anu, bendar belalai, nyalam... diatu lain pimikiran kitai enggau anakx2...we are more open-minded, ngasai kediri enggau anakx2 and their girlfriends, ba penemu aku sapax2 bakal bini/laki anak kitai; ti kitai ka meda anakx2 kitai idup senang enggau bakal bini/laki, kitai apai indai patut madah, ngiring sida iya especially maia sida agik 'courting" takut sida salah langkah, laban diatu ukai kitai enda nemu "social ills" is very bad nyau ka tiap hari bisi aja berita orang bebuai ke anak; nya meh enggai enda berhati-hati. Ba penemu aku bakal menantu asai anakx2 kitai empu! Back to randau kami duai bestfren aku "Ley", that's the reason why kami duai befriend their "girlfriend". Iya meh maia anak mutus ke cinta enggau girlfriend, alo anak kena "anu" kami duai, dini ka ngiga mummy ke understanding baka kitai diatu ko jako kenang kami duai. Ukai ga ka encourage anak bepangan tang ti di tagang enggai ke sida rebelious, laban ka nyaga family institution, nya meh meri moral value, supportive and understanding ngagai sida ke biak so that our children and their future spouse will have good life together and happiness. Once our children can achieve these in their life, our responsibilities as parents kira ke complete!

Ley, anang jera ke Miri, another favourite food is my "Lelapan" initially I plan to take her to Muara makai Lelapan, ingat ke diri baru batuk, so I decided to treat her at Sushi King... amai kenyang kami duai makai lunch tadi, sayau I have to go to work ti enda udah bai aku supping sebelah Bintang Mall meh iya tadi.... next time!!

Putting God and His Word First - 05.09.2010

Since it's sunday, been thinking what to write or share with friends on Sunday. Let this be my first sunday to share the words of God and Prayer extracted from one of the book that I read "Scriptural Prayers for the Praying Woman". Ukai ka berfirman enggau bala kita, tang enggau ati lantang serta rindu ka share God's word ketegal pemanah Tuhan udah merkat pengidup aku and my loved ones selamatu. Terima Kasih Tuhan, Puji Nama Nuan saritu sampai ke jemah ila.

I've chose chapter "Putting God and His Word first".

Prayer:
Dear Father, I make a quality decision to put You Your Word first in my life. I look to Your word as the authority, the standard, and final word to live my life by. I seek Your Word as counsel for every area of my life. I am quick to obey the instructions from Your Word. The Bible is Your Word to me. It is alive, powerful, and the source of wisdom, instruction, and direction for my life. Lord, reveal the truths and principles of Your Word to me. Speak to my life through its wisdom and instruction. Help me to take time to study and meditate on Your Word and apply its principles to my life and my children's lives. Help me to find creative ways to memorize Scripture to learn more of Your Word, and to help my children to do the same. As I read and meditate on Your Word, speak to me. Bring correction, reproof, direction, insight and guidance to every area of my life. Give me wisdom through Your Word that I may deal wisely in the affairs of my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Udah merati ke pesan ba chapter tu, arap ke kitai samax2 put God first dalam pengidup kitai sarix2, minta saup iya dalam semua pengawa kitai, betuai ke Tuhan siko aja serta nerima anak tunggal iya Jesus Kristus nyadi juruselamat kitai; pia mega we must live by His Word, awak ke nyadi pengering ke kitai physically and spiritually. 1st Weekend of September...04.09.2010

At home resting

Really looking forward for this weekend, to have a good rest at home keno ko anak ati, laban ke agik batuk alo bedau geraix2.. tusah batuk tu "off & on", asai ka gerai, agik ga batuk... Bai tinduk enggai ga mata tu, so just rest on bed with my lappy on my lap, blogging sambil chatting away with suluati ke benong berikan di tasik Bintulu. Nasip meh diatu kitai diau ba dunia iT, so communication is easily access. Ninting ari meh kami duai suluati berandau nengah arus angin ribut gelombang ko kitai, terubat ga rindu ngagai pangan diri. Ti baka menya bakani enda meh ninga berita ari pangan, ka pan enda ngantik "Mr Posmen" meh nganjung surat, lelak meli stem, meli karung surat, lebih agik ti laki/sulu kerja ke tasik sampai 2 bulan.. panjai ari! (lubah amai jam bputar munyi ko leka lagu Ita Medin) hehehehe

St. Columba Parish Carnival

11:30a.m. reached St. Columba church compound, variety of stalls. Aku laban ke udah reserve enda iboh enggau org berebut meli lauk, udah di ready ke wai KS.. aku meli the "femes chicken curry" di sumai kakak KS. Wai Rose P pan bisi nyual begulai enggau stall wai KS, so wai Rose rekomen aku ngasai ke lauk "chicken masak tebu kicap". Datai ba stall ari Extension chapel, Tmn Tunku meli "kaki ayam berempah"... besides nya meli doughnut, lime jus kami duai anak dara aku. Wai KS & wai Rose sedap chicken curry and chicken tebu... agik bisi chicken curry for our dinner tonite.. kaki ayam from stall Taman Tunku also boleh tahan. Keep up the good work ladies.. (ka belajar memasak enggau bala waix2 tu ila)! May God's love be upon you ladies and loved ones. Bisi betemu enggau waisulu Veron, sama meli laukx2 kami duai.. lama enda betemu enggau pangan, miss her. (kaban enggau aku berbaris Hari Kemerdekaan).







Jalanx2 cari kue kue di Bazaar Ramadhan, indoor stadium

Pulai ari rumah wai Sebugey meli longan 2 kilo, madi aku mai meli kue kue ngagai bazaar ramadhan @ indoor stadium, kue & lauk manah diak more choice and fresh ti di banding ba Morsjaya. Sarinya ku bisi meli panggang ikan merah sedap ko aku, so we went to the stall and get one. Udahnya meli kuex2 cimit kena kami duai minuman petang enggau budakx2... laban ke enda ulih makai utai maioh nya meh meli mimit aja asuh aku, jilis ku meda org ulih makai... aku semina ngambik 2 pieces each kuex2 enggai enda ngamin, tusah ga batuk tu... enda nemu geraix2. Meli ai irup Selasih tadi ngicha ke bisi berangin; meli nasi goreng "dabai" meh aku tadi, looks yummy udah ga enda berminyak, nya pun makai cimit kena mantup tetengguk, sepaket @ RM3. Au, ngenang buah longan tadi, nyepi seleka aja, enda berani makai lebih ari seleka, enggai ke batuk makin menjadi... nama penyadi ko Jingin?? hehehe But my children loves it nya meh meli 2 kilo.

Family time .. relaxing

After we had our dinner, relaxing at home watching Korean Drama series bala mensia, aku continue my blogging, while waiting to fetch my daughter ke benong enggau Youth group @ Anglican Extension Tmn Tunku chapel. My mum, brother & wife went back to LA this morning @ 7:00 a.m. they reached safely LA at 4:30 p.m. My poor little nephew bisi "red-eyes", he got it from his sister cumi, who got it from her classmates; sida 3 menyanak stay overnight at my place laban brother in law udah ke KK with his cousin to send a car to his niece who's studying at Sabah Uni..(nyamai idup nembiak kemaia ari tu, belajar ba Uni, higher Institute, kolej di sedia ke apai indai keta, di beli ke laptop, handphone ke mar serba canggih, di beri pocket money ratus/ribu.. nadai nyepi pemerinsa baka org kelia ngiga pemandai, arap ke bala anakx2 rebak baru nemu appreciate pementas, penyiru apai indai ke nyegula ke sida sampai ke menara gading!).

.... lubah amai uploading gambar ba blog tu, mata nyau klip klip ka sleep.. bala budakx2 benong meda Transfomer ba TV, budakx2 kecik udah lama tidurrrrrr... pagila nyambung baru.. nitex2!!

Little Hope in my Career

This morning.. we had our forthnightly team meeting. Our team lead stated that at this moment their stand is to keep all the contractor staffs until our contract expires September 2011. Once the contract expires then the mangagement will decide who should be retain with the Subsurface Team. I hope the management will know who should they retain and terminate; it's so sad when an employee happen to be the only breadwiner in the family being terminated, how will he feed his wife and children?? I felt so sorry to learnt that one of our colleague is in that situation, I pray that he will be able to get a job in a month time, as we are only given one month notice. Personally, I just leave my fate with our Heavenly Father who knows what's best for His children.. I put my faith and trust to Jesus our Lord & Saviour. Amen.

My health (asthma)

Today, still coughing not as bad before I was given "Neb" treatment by Dr Noor last Monday evening... I had to take the coughing and mucus pills, since Monday nite I can sleep well thru' the night; my breathing improves too, hopefully by end of this week my health will be much better. it's so sickening, coughing off and on, I just can't do my monthly facial treatment, had to re-schedule my appointment with the saloon to do my monthly 'scalp treatment'. Postpone my "Cardio exercise" eventho' I had promise to register myself to the Dancing Fitness Centre this week. "sigh"!

Why I like the month of September

Each year I'm always looking forward for the month of September because this is the month where I'll be celebrating my birthday. It's just coincidence that M'sia Day happens to fall on 16th September, and this year our gov't had declared it as "Public Holiday" (1st PH after 46 years); and my birthday is just the following day! I plan to take leave to prepare for my birthday as this year it will be a special one, as I had to share my birthday with my little nephew Gilchrist since he shares the same birthdate with me... (taun jauh berbeza); It will be my little nephew's One year Old birthday!! (asai 'inik' aku tu ila hehehehe)

... till then, I need to take a good sleep, Good nite and God bless us all...

Here comes month of September ...01.09.2010

Looking back at the month of August 2010.

There are times for everything. 29th August, my bro Doug (Dom) celebrated his birthday, bought a simple cake and few dishes was prepared for him and family members. His actual birthday falls on 24th August, since it is on weekday, we've decided to celebrate it on weekend... My brother is staying with me, he takes care of my home while I and children are away to work and schools. He's the only sibblings of four who could not go to work bcoz of his "sickness" which he has been suffering since teenage years but he's on medication and under specialist care. May our good Lord continue to bless my dear brother with long life and many more blessings on earth.

28th August 2010, was my beloved sweetheart's birthday... was quite frustrated because he's not around to celebrate his birthday with me, I just wish him birthday wishes and may all his dreams come true. I pray that our Heavenly Father will continue to bless him with excellent health, prosperity, in his career undertakings, true happiness on earth and many more blessings in life. That morning, I bought him a birthday gift, can't wait for his return and; by God's willing will treat him with romantic candlelight dinner!! *winks* Love you so dearly my Sweetheart.
Since mid August, I've been coughing off and on.. it was quite bad... each time I cough I had to grasp for my breath, I've to toss left right centre leaning forward, backward to catch my breath, my lungs gets tighten which makes my breathing difficult, I sweats when it attack and lasts 2 or 3 hours. I did not go to clinic, as I was confident that I can be cured by taking medicines from pharmacy as I usually did. This time it didn't work as I thought.. so last Monday evening after work, I went to Dr Cheu Clinic.. Dr Noor was there to treat me... after hearing my breathing, she confirm that I have "asthma"; so she forced me to have "neb" so that my lungs can open the air-passage in order for me to breathe normally, immediately I can feel it too. Then she prescribed me with coughing and muscus pills, which tasted so bitter, asai makai "racun"!! Since, last Monday evening, I felt much better. Praise the Lord! Understood my lungs are cold, it must be my frequent late shower that had developed "asthma", and each time I cough it will trigger my asthma. Usually the earliest I took my shower is at 10:00 p.m. and the latest is midnite and sometimes I wash my hair at that time... eeerrrrrr!!! not again!! Learnt my lesson well. Maia di "neb" sempat ga aku ngasuh indu nas ngambik gambar aku, enggai ke bisi orang enda caya aku ngagai clinic, nyau ka tiap ari "suluati" remind me to go to clinic, nyau takut tudah tuai ninga sepOt aku maia iya call aku.. ti aku ba darat sigi ku "irit" ke clinic ko tudah tuai.. laban aku ke degil nadai ninga jako orang ke sayau ke kitai..hehehe

Every 31st August comes, maia kitai sibuk celebrate Hari Merdeka, I'll always remember my idol who had passed away 13 years ago... the late Princess Diana... ti iya agik idup saritu, she would be 49 years old... bakani enda meh gamal, pengidup tudah ti iya agik idup saritu?? As from this year onwards, every 29th August, people around the globle will remember the Legend King of Pop Michael Jackson who passed away last year June 2009. Late Michael Jackson was born on 29th August and would turn 51 years old if he is alive today.. May their souls rest in peace. Amen.
Personally, month of August has certainly gave me "new light of life", which I least expected; I felt at peace within myself as I learnt to let go the bad feelings on those who had hated me and have wrongly accused me of who I am. Now, I believe the blibical verse which says "Love your enemies"!! I know it's not easy as we are only human but when you are able to do so, life seems worth living and strongly believe there are many more blessings ahead! The message here: "Learn to forgive one another and forget what had contribute bitterness towards each other".

Now that we are in the month of September, I wonder what September would brings us?? May God bless us All. Amen.
