Dance to a Healthier Body and Mind : 11.08.2010

Sini sana munyi ko lagu Dtk CT.. orang bejako pasal kesihatan tubuh, minda. Ni ke dalam magazine, newspaper bisi ga madah pemanah exercise, meri tips etc.. Bala colleagues ke enggau aku kerja udah start magang nurun "brisk walking" ba padang KRP.. Bisi 2 iko kaban mai aku "cardio exercise or dance for fitness" siko mai ba Taman Yakin, siko mai ba Tmn Tunku. Bedau meh aku kekebut, agik rindu nyimpan lemak dalam tubuh.."puasa" aja keno!

Last week, meda program TV3 Nona, apuuu amai bajik Model nya bisi 4 iko anak, tubuh langsing, mua agik tegang and most of all she has beautiful black long wavy hair... (buok ke deka ati meh knya)... enda ingat ke nama model nya! So, model tu meh, motivated me that i must do something about myself. Tambah mega suluati madah kediri ngagai gym belama.. haizzzz ko dlm ati ku "sesais memagang org aarrr".

Bisi kawan aku Oli R.. madah ke aku, "mau ikOt aku gi CardiO exercise, 1st trial pegi free" ko iya. Okay lah, mun free mau lah aku pegi ko aku. Asal free sigi laju aku.. hahahaha

Au back to dance for fitness exercise manah ba aku, laban iya enda boring, kitai ulih ngayun ke kaki, jari, goyang punggung, ngitih ke rentak lagu.. rancak agik lagu, virgorous agik ga movement tubuh kitai, maioh agik ga peluh pansut.. muai toxic ke dalam tubuh. Benefits of cardio dancing iya ulih ngurang ke berat tubuh, ulih meri posture tubuh kitai slim, ulih mengawal tekanan fikiran, meningkatkan tenaga, membina otot ba lengan, perut, pungung enggau peha serta ulih mengurangkan tekanan darah.

Udah pikirx2 ka aku register myself with MISA LUVI Dance & Fitness Studio operated by 4 siblings. Tokeyneo agik biak Michelle di tulong 3 iko menyadik iya, 2 iko indu & siko laki. Studio tu operates from Monday till Friday, two sessions: 5:30 pm till 6:30 pm and 6:30 p.m till 7:30 pm. Registration Fees di bagi 2 iti option : one for VIP member, one for Regular member. VIP Member mayar RM100 and Regular Member mayar RM10, udahnya ngitih brapa kali session di ambik kitai dlm sebulan.. VIP member murah about RM10 to RM20 then Regular member. It is situated at Boulevard area, 2nd floor on top of CIMB Bank. Begambar nadai kala miss ko kitai.

Tu gambar tokeyneo ke empu Dance & Fitness Studio.. Ms Michelle(t-shirt putih), ke baju chelum nya kerja diak, iya ngambik attendance enggau ngambik fees. Very friendly tokeyneo enggau assistant iya nya.. nya ke ngasuh anak ati aku ka ngeregister diri ba studio tu. Tambah mega bisi Oli, Vic & Lina bisi enggau aku kia.

Surprisingly tadi ku pegi dancing, i don't feel pain or tired, compared two years ago when i join Love Dance Studio ba Tmn Yakin, engka laban aku udah nemu cimit movement and steps and when we exercise we should not feel pain, ti kitai bisi feel pain means bisi salah stretching or overdo. "wah, cepat juga kamu bepeluh ko assistant ngena baju chelum nya ngelara aku nyau peluh tusul".. ukai tau begerak cimit tubuh aku tu, alo bepeluh, kurus aja alo bedaux2... stubborn amai ga lemak dalam tubuh aku tu ko kitai. Bisi ku tebaca, ngitih ke pansik.."you can certainly add two or three years of life-span on average by exercising regularly - even if you don't start until later in life".

Bah aram meh kitai samax2 nyaga kesihatan tubuh enggau minda kitai by exercise enda ngira nama types of exercise which ever suits us best. Anang ngira umur udah tuai, nyau lembau exercise it should not be the case as we can benefit from exercise at any age. Just begin by doing light exercises and slowly build up the pace as we go along.. Meransang kita, meransang aku empu meh tu...

Saritu genap Shell nyambut 100 taun udah beroperasi ba M'sia. Kena nanda ke 100 taun, Shell bisi ngatur ke program ngagai bala staffs. Programmes di rintai muak ke pagi bakatu:

Laban ke enda lama kin, semina nganjung diri makai breakfast free... nya ko boss lapa enda ninga speech MD.. makai aja ko aku. Maioh amai bala mensia, nadai alah ngantik speech enggau Cake Cutting, ti bisi gambar ari sida ke bisi witness the event ila ngepost ga. Gambar ke bisi di ambik aku pagi tu, semina tu aja, buat kenangan 100 taun Shell beroperasi ba menua kitai. Nasip ga gawa enggau Silllllllll ko kitai, bisi ga enggau org ngeruh ke ai.. hehehehe

Kolig aku "NA" madah duai "KS" bisi enggau org group photo ba penutup event this morning, laban aku ke enggai ngantik lama tadi, nadai meh enggau org, ka iyO!! Janji bisi enggau makai beserempu enggau bala kaban, begambar kenangan enggau Hunyang and her kolig melakang ka poster Grand Old Lady ba depan office main building (LLB Entrance) pama meh ko kitai.

I’m learning… to stand, to walk, not easy eh!! 07.08.2010

Last weekend, my sis and brother in law bisi Motivational Talk at Gua Long House for Primary 6 students. Tinggal meh nephew aku Gilchrist. 2 hari aku nyaga iya… lama enda nyaga nembiak mit, rindu ga asai… especially maia umur iya diatu, benong nyamai di kayam, puas bai iya betundie, ti kitai enda nundie iya alo ka nyabak… ni alah kitai jadi “kartun”! Heran nembiak mit diatu, nemu amai begambar, asal ku migai HP alo nemu ngaga pose iya.. geram amai ku meda!! Kitai kelia nadai pan nemu beposing baka nembiak maia ari, engka laban nemu rega Kodak mar kini.. enda tau sebarang kacit, diatu peneka ngacit, ni enda nembiak rindu beposing !!



Enda berasi, next month my nephew will be celebrating his 1 year old birthday .... ehemmmm mama iya tu tumpang aja ila, laban kami duai happen to share the same birthdate.. 17th Sept. *winks*!!

"A Year Older A Year Wiser.". Happy Birthday dear KS @ Helen

Birthday luncheon at Boulevard Restaurant in front of SESCO Building, Pujut. Nice and cosy place for dining for family occasion or private function. Foods are well prepared, portion served just nice for us to take, bendar bala kami ngabis ke utai di empa, semua ka jaga badan magang. After we had our meal, we got KS to blow and cut a "simple home-made cheese cake", simple yet delicious, so soft it just melt in our mouth ko kitai (iklan sekejap). Begambar sigi enda tau tinggal, awak ke bisi ke pengingat maia ari tuai ila. Ukai selalu nyambut birthday kaban… once a year ko kitai… Today, is not KS actual birthday, but we just want to celebrate it one day earlier! I believe her beloved hubby and children will celebrate with her on her actual Birthday.

Wishing KS Happy Birthday, May the good Lord continue to bless you with excellent health and prosperity, and many happy returns of the day.. Stay beautiful and cheerful owezs! from iEg with love.. huggsss!

Class Ngajat at Ruai Francis Loke..4.8.2010

Malam kemarik 2nd day bala sida ke indu belajar ngajat.. rindu meda stail bala indaix2 orang ke belajar ngajat, keda baka ke bekuntau, nyadi diri .. pedis rang ketawa.. geli ati, ni ke madah lengan enggai nyadi di ayun, nyau keras meh lengan, jari hahaha punggung asuh ngelentik ke agik, ti steps kaki ulih, maia cikgu ngasuh steps kaki enggau jari samax2 alO salah magang ga steps... cikgu ke ngajar nyau meh ketawa meda ulah indaix2 org. Paling biak students umur 7 taun anak James Joshua..ke paling senior nadai ga org nyebut.

Sebedau sida starts entepa ke lengan, ngeliuk ke tubuh asuh org besenam dulu sida iya.. awak ke rileks muscle.. enggai ke krem. 2nd day bisi agik ga insul sida iya, kira jampat sida nemu. Ke manah liuk peda aku, Mang AiE, bini Tuni enggau Mang SaA and akak iya, ukai ketegal sida kaban aku tang amai manah.

Aku sigi rindu meda org pandai ngajat, ngemuan skill ngajat; malam kemarik udah ninga jakO cikgu, baru nemu bisi steps "burung".. ila ka mai bup mit ka ngerekod bungaix2 ajat.. Ni alah kitai pocox2 belama, manah meh kitai ngangkat ke main asal iban, awak ke terbilang baka pocox2, belle dance, lion dance eh! salah.. mcmx2 dance meh!
Maia break 5 mins, alO ngambik kesempatan meh sida bposing enggau aku, aku kira ke nyadi "Pengeritik Tetap" sida iya... kira ke reality show Akademi Ngajat!! Belajar sambil exercise, muai stress and also bulih skills ngajat ari org ke arif pasal ngajat!

Enda sabar ka meda sida tu graduate...best of luck ladies!!

So You Think You Can Dance??

This year Dayak Association Miri (DAM) organised "Ngajat" class for women and men. The duration is 2 months effective 2nd August 2010. Women class are: Monday, Wednesday, time from 7:30 p.m. till 9:30 p.m., and Saturday @ from 4:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. Men class are: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, time the same as women's class. Fees charge for DAM member RM25 and non-member RM50.

Maioh bala kaban enggau peda ku sarinya, bini Bunyau (Lene), Mang SaA, Mang AiE, bini Martin E (Regina), kawan aku Clara ari Hong Leong Bank, kwn aku Roslind, bini Dr Nuing and few others ke bisi enggau. Aku di bai bala, enggai laban ke malu...(maklum lah indu emun, adai nemu entepa ba stage ko kitai).. Cousin indu ke diau enggau aku, asuh aku ngari ke aku, laban iya biak, jampat agik nemu, tambah mega iya sigi active ba skula pasal tari menari ko kitai. Nembiak mit indu umur 8 taun ke atas ulih enggau kelas ngajat. Arap ke semua students "ngajat" tu pass enggau merit, enda ga nembiak rebak baru or the young generation tinggal main asal kitai iban. Same goes to bala indu ke udah senior, agik ka belajar ngajat, big applause to them.

I believe we should perserve these traditional dance so that we will not lose our identity as an iban. *Aku nganjung cousin aku, sambil ngambik penemu ari cikgu ngajat, ukai senang ga belajar ngajat, maioh bungai, maiOh macam steps, liuk jari ti entepa enda tau ngeluas bau kitai, lentik jari jemari, punggung, kaki mesti syncronize magang... tusah ba aku, ti free style engka meh nemu leliuk with the tips di ambik ari cikgu ngajat will not go wrong ko kitai*.. 1, 2; 3, 4; 5, 6; 7, 8...steps hahahahahaha

Unresolved Issue and Good News for month of July 2010

Before we go to the month of August.. maioh ga utai nyadi ba bulan July... issue ke bedau ulih di putar ke bisi pansut ba surat khabar dalam bulan July, meri kitai berunding enggau panjai, bakani meh masa depan kitai ila, ti udah bisi pemutus ari org ke bekuasa dlm issuex2 tu. Berita ke manah ba bulan July "Appointment 4 Pol. Sec. to CM S'Wak each person represent one of the BN Component (PBB, SUPP, SPDP & PRS).

1. Price Hike.. Sugar and Patrol. Sugar endang patut di tiki ke rega, laban ulih mai penyakit ngagai tubuh kitai ti over ngambik sugar. Ukai baka rega Patrol, niki belama rega Patrol, taja menua kitai kaya enggau asil minyak enggau gas, tang nadai guna, nadai reti ba rakyat kitai ba menua Sarawak, agik mar ga rega Patrol ti di banding ba menua Brunei. "The gov't will find ways to cushion the effects of price hike" ko Dtk Patinggi Tan Sri George Chan. Samax2 meh kita meda ila, ni pengamat, ti bisi manah meh. Subsidy ti ketu, laban ka reduce "utang piutang" menua kitai keno ko!! Well, what's next??

2. Abolishing Exams UPSR and PMR... Exam is necessary ba runding aku, this is the only way we can measure pemandai nembiak skula ba mata pelajaran, kira ke "bench-mark" sida iya. Ti sida ka memansuhkan, abolish Public Exams tu, asai aku enda appropriate, after they complete their Primary School, to sit for UPSR Exam is a must, at least we can tell how well they know what is being taught in Primary education before entering Secondary.. Batu Lonchatan! PMR is another important exam, from PMR, students are segregate either to Arts Stream or Science Stream. I believe leaders in M'sia have gone through these exams and it certainly have made them who they are now, success in their undertakings.

The ministry believes that children are too "Exams Orientated", so they lack in participating in other school activities or co-curiculum. If they were to abolish these exams, they will replace it with a better system. Hope it would be good, if there is totally no exams, I can imagine what kind of students we will face in the near future, with the current exams existed some students are hardly studying, what more without exams to measure their IQ, nadai jakO membina "Model Insan Beguna"... Salah munyi jako..nah! Gold need to be tested, Faith kitai enggau Tuhan pan di tested. No Exams, what will they...big questionmark. Btw, bedau temu pemutus, have to analyse feedbacks from educators, ministry etc.. arap ke sida ngaga pemutus ti mai pemanah ngagai bala anak kitai and masyarakat as a whole!

3. Appointments of 4 Political Secretaries to the CM of S'wak.. One of them is my political friend, Cr Kijan. I worked with her for the last 2 terms with SPDP at Piasau Division (1st term as her Secretary, 2nd term as her Deputy). I personally find Cr Kijan a hard-working and dedicated person when come to work esp. in Politics, she organised lots of events and it is always a success with her strong and supportive line-up. As a friend, she's generous, kind, soft-spoken, have the patience to tolerate all kinds of short-comings esp. in Politics.. susah ka cakap, a cheerful and approachable person. Besides involve in Politics, she's also involve with the Org Ulu Associations esp. the Handicraft. I believe she deserves the appointment as Political Secretary to CM S'wak, and to represent the Org Ulu.. Happy for her and my heartiest congratulations! (Ngantik Cr Kijan madah aja tu, kemaia ka ngerami laban udah di padu ke org nyadi Pol. Secl)

4. Politics - only for graduate teachers of DG41 and DG48... Tun Dr Mahatir was against it, our present PM reinstate the policy, teachers are allowed to be involved in politics as he believes that teachers are a good leader, a respectable job to the community. However, there are many mixed reaction and response from teachers, parents and the community. Just wait and see how it goes.. the policy is to take effect 1st August 2010.

5. Hysteria at SMK Datu Permaisuri.. not the first time this sort of incident occur, students found hysteria, the school had to sent them off to their home, students on afternoon session were also sent off to home, the school was closed that day. Understand the school have to call "bomoh" to look at the students who was attacked. The next day, the main cause of hysteria was that the students was believe to be playing with "Spirit of the Coin".. agik ingat aku enggau bala kawanx2 ka amai main spirit of the coin, amai te nemu bejalai kediri meh duit sen nya, angat asai tunjuk ke migai nya, nanya ke nama result maia exams, sapa nama future "laki" kami, brapa ikO meh anak kami & mcmx2 meh, nyau baka ke nanya "Octupus Paul" hahahahahaha geli ati ingat ke main kelia maia agik skula.. nadai ga sampai hysteria bakanya!
