NEPHEW'S BAPTISM - 05.04.2010

At last, my 6 months old nephew Gilchrist was baptised at Matedei Church, Lutong on Monday Evening @ 5:00 p.m. Crowd of parents was there to witness their babies being baptised. Photos taken that evening.

Nasip baby Gil enda meragam lemai nya, nadai nyabak...semina feeling bored, guess it must be very warm inside the church... babies when they are bored, looks so adorable & cute!

Baptism time.. baby's name were called, mothers lining-up holding their bundle of joy to be baptised by the Priest.

Photo taken with Gilchrist's god father... and then heading for home. May God continue to guide and bless my little nephew Gilchrist from today onwards with good health, to excel in his studies and most of all put God first in his entire life.

My little niece Isabella Umi her brother little nephew Gilchrist will always be included in my my daily prayer, Mama wish both of them well, naughty, mischevious, smart, cute as ever; I treat both of them as my own children, love them so dearly each day... mmuuuaaaahhssss & hugggsss cumi & gil! HI-TEA WITH SENATOR DORIS S BRODIE (04.04.2010)

Last Sunday evening @4:30 p.m., I and other PRS Women was invited to have Hi-Tea with the newly appointed Senator Doris S Brodie to her home at Emerald Gold, Senadin, Miri. When we reached there, we were welcomed by Senator with a smile and immediately feel at home. Her home has the touch of simplicity but elegant with modern decorations.

Since, it's Easter day, the Senator wants PRS women in Miri to get together to have Hi-Tea with her to celebrate Easter and to get close rapport among PRS Women who resides in Northen Region. She talked about the coming PRS TDC in Bintulu, her contributions to the party, her agenda for the coming months. No matter how busy she is, I believes she still have the time to take good care of her beauty and health, and that is why she still look young and healthy; that evening her fingernails were manicured and painted in pink color; she dressed in simple brown cheongsam blouse and pants. I can see that she's a busy woman and very dedicated to her work; fully with energy organising party activities despite of her age, she travels frequently to interior areas of Sarawak to accompany PRS Leaders.

As we continue to eat and drink coffee, soft drinks were also served to us. She shared her experience meeting with Tan Sri Dr Jins Shamsuddin, how she admired him as very humble person and at the age of 70 years, he's still in good shape, and just recently got his doctorate. Senator Doris referred him as "James Bond M'sia".. when we recalled his movie those days. So, I ask Senator if she meets up with Tan Sri Dr Jins, please take photo with him as remembrance. After sesi "mengauk food", we ate our food at the cosy backyard of her house. Love her gate, nicely decorated with stones like peebles (bigger ones).

Before we head for home, Senator mai bala kami ke bisi datai, begambar group Photo.. aaah, nadai kala nulak ti pasal begambar.. on! on! aja, lebih agik enggau Senator, bila agik ko kitai. hehehe
Honoured to be invited by the Senator to have Hi-Tea with her, and I took the opportunity to pose with Senator Doris S. Brodie. Very lovely, friendly and big-hearted woman, with a vision who wants to see dayak women to be successful in life at par with other women globally in the near future. She also mentioned there will be a Woman Seminar to be held sometimes in August, organise by PRS Exco Women. Venue have not been decided yet, but most likely in Sibu so that people from Kuching, Sarikei, Miri, Limbang can come for the seminar.


I felt indeed very fortunate to have Hi-Tea with Senator; and being a 2nd iban lady after Datuk Paduka Empiang Jabu being appointed as Senator in Sarawak. Knowing that not eveybody get the chance to dine, talk, laugh with a "Senator", she doesn't mind me calling her Doris, and she refer me as "wai", humble yet very elegant; I must say she deserves the Senatorship.
Dear Senator, "Heartiest Congratulations on your appointment as Senator, May God bless you with good strength and wisdom to carry out your work as Senator to bring good will and transformation to Dayak women in rural as well in urban areas". Thank you once again for inviting me. iEg.

HE IS RISEN! ALLELUIA! - 04.04.2010

All Christians have the very right to celebrate this "Queen of Festivals", Easter is the day when we christians celebrate the glorious risen of our Lord Jesus Christ who have done his final task on earth to die for our sins, to defeat death, satan and evil spirits. Alleluia!! What a beautiful day to celebrate this glorious occasion, it was bright sunny Sunday morning.

We christians are reminded not to celebrate Easter as one day celebration, it should be celebrated throughout our life. We are serving, worshiping a living God, the resurrection Lord Jesus Christ as our saviour. Without knowing Jesus, it's better to never have been born than not to have met Him. This year St'Columba church organised a Easter Sunday Food Stall.. here are some pictures taken, it was very hot day, so can't stand the heat. Beautiful and dedicated ladies were at the food stalls to help raise fund for St Columba Church, I'm sure they must be tired preparing, but all efforts are worth it.



Before leaving the stalls, met a "radiant, slender bride-to-be Josephine A." and her cousin Victoria at St'Columba church patio; Josephine will end her singlehood and going to be married this coming Saturday, 10th April 2010. I would like to take this opportuniy to wish her .. "Wishing her true happiness and blessed marriage with her groom-to be.. May the good Lord continue to bless this young & beautiful couple with many blessings in life."

Lastly, wishing all brothers & sisters in Christ, "Happy Easter Day" not only last Sunday but everyday is Easter Day for us. Personally, I strongly agree with Pastor Benny Hinn..Jesus Christ has given my life rich meaning and fulfillment and has satisfied me beyond measure.

Papa's Stopover .. 03.04.2010

02.04.2010, rec'd message from Papa around 9:00 p.m.; flight delayed from KL to Miri.. ETA Miri 01:15 a.m. Udah rec'd message kol 9:30 malam, alo masuk bedroom, tinduk dulu, alarm clock set kol 00:45; awak ke on time keno ko! Alarm bebunyi tutup dulu, set another 5 mins... then jam nujuk kol 1 pagi, segaut brush teeth, rush to Airport Miri.. on da way ku agai airport, rec'd call, nanya dini endor aku hehehehe "on the way" ko aku! I must admit punctuality is my weakness. Ingat ke al-kisah aku suba maia agik belajar ngambik long distance study... abis kena tinggal bilun udah meh, ni ke belanda ba airstrip, ni ke nama aku sampai 3 kali calling to board the plane, mcmx2 kisah aku pasal nepan bilun hahaha

Back to Papa's stopover, tho it was a short return from Singapore-KL-Miri (tusah amai ga ndai direct flight from Spore to Miri) ka pan enda baka "apai saloi" meh Singapore-KL-Miri-KL. Since December 2009, for the last 3 months enda betemu enggau pangan diri, kati enda rindu, biar less than 24 hrs, iya tetap pulai sekejap laban ka betemu enggau aku and other family members. Bisi ga masa ngaga "close-deals" with legal matters and made necessary payments; last inspection to Lot 8791.

Gaga ga di beli ke suluati parfum ari Singapore, ti compare ke price ba Miri, much cheaper. My favourite parfum from Lancome and Dior.. then Loose Powder ari Lancome pan bisi di beli. Handbag and shoe LV aja iya enggai meli, malu iya meli barang org indu ko iya, ngantik aku empu ke Singapore meli kediri ko iya. Wine Cordon Blue pan bisi di beli iya ba KLIA... bisi bala madikkss ku aus! aus! meda pica tu hehehe

Udah tembo ngurus ke pengawa penting, Papa udah promise ti bulih straight A's (PMR)ka meli laptop for daughter (Chill), tu tadi Chill nadai betemu enggau Papa laban iya bisi Easter Camp at SMK St' Joseph school, Tanjung since Maundy Thursday nite. Before, iya mulai kediri to KL that evening, we ate at Dragon Seafood Paradise, Luak. My sister, brother-in law and niece Cumi joined both of us. Nadai sempat madah ke bala kaban, it was rushx2, and furthermore, he was supposed to be back to KL taking the 12:00 noon flight, but then he changed his flight to evening, agik belala begulai ...

Sekali agik minta ampun ari pun pala sampai ke ujung kaki, laban nadai madah ke bala kumangs, intans, kaban ke bukai selalu enggau begulai, his stopover was not planned, he was supposed to be from Singapore to KL while waiting to be flown over to Vietnam until end of May before Gawai break, then he will take his leave... by God's will. Tusah ga pengawa sulu ku tu semua ad-hoc basis; anything can happen and change last minute. Nasip aku org yang penyabar and understand his big responsibilities that the company entrusted him to carry out company's project and etc. Ti ngitih ke ati, enggai meh beselara lama, tang apa boleh buat, kitai makai gaji enggau org.. Bini di tinggalx2 kan, ukai tanda enda sayau..."Jauh di mata, tang semak di ati belama" ko suluati. Every minute and seconds counts spending time together are very precious and valued moment for both of us.
